Manage User Roles and Accounts

Managing user roles and accounts for WorldTracer is done using the SITA Identity Management (IDM) portal, and is not described in this help.

The WorldTracer coordinator is usually responsible for creating and maintaining user accounts and roles.

Note:

If your company uses Single Sign On, user roles are not assigned from the IDM portal.

What Is a Role?

A role defines what functionality a user can access in WorldTracer.

Each role includes a number of permissions. Permissions define what the user can access in WorldTracer and what actions they can take.

SITA provides a number of generic roles, which you can use as is, or clone (copy) and adapt for your company.

One user can be assigned a WorldTracer role and an IDM role. Do not assign more than one WorldTracer role, as this could cause a conflict.
