Introduction to WorldTracer
SITA WorldTracer is a tracing and matching service that enables airlines and ground handling agents to trace lost and found baggage across the world, and is used by over 500 customers worldwide.
WorldTracer works behind the scenes to compare the details provided in lost baggage reports to the details provided in found baggage reports.
When a match is found, WorldTracer notifies the appropriate stations, so the bag can be sent to its destination and reunited with the passenger.
