Deliver a Bag

When a bag has to be delivered to its passenger, you create a Delivery Order (BDO). This contains details of the bags to deliver, the delivery date, address, and the delivery company. You can print a delivery order from the triple-dot menu.

Note:

This feature is available if your coordinator has configured one or more delivery companies for your station.

You can create a Delivery Order for a Delayed Bag File, an On-Hand Bag File, or a Damaged Bag File.

Best Practice:

Always include the following information in a delivery order:

  • All family names

  • Full address

  • Contact number or email

Create a Delivery Order

Menu:

Passenger > Delayed Bag

Passenger > Damaged Bag

Bag > On-Hand Bag

  1. Display the file and select Create Delivery Order in the triple-dot menu.

  2. Enter all relevant information for the delivery, then click Create.
  3. Print the Deliver Order from the triple-dot menu.

Tip: Close the Delayed Bag File after you have arranged delivery of the bag.

Cancel a Delivery Order

  1. Display the file and select Update File in the triple-dot menu.

  2. Go to the Delivery tab, click Remove next to the Delivery Service Information field.

  3. Go to the More tab and delete all text from the Delivery Information section.

  4. Click Update.
